Ed Force One - LAX

Flying into LAX took on a whole new meaning. There was a new Sheriff in town.. nope, not from outside the Hollywood Hills. Sherriff Kobe had just dispatched 60 points the night before our arrival. Too bad we missed it, however knowing the LA scene, it was probably best not to compete directly with that legend.

Ed Force One - DEN

After visiting my birthplace in Everett, WA, I flew out to Denver. The plane-spotters were prepared and some great pictures were taken. There was definitely no confusion as to which airport I would fly into this time.

Ed Force One - SEA

I arrived near my birthplace on 4/11/16. The short flight from Vancouver was uneventful, except for the plane-spotters who were at the wrong place at the right time. Some thought that I would visit home first at Paine Field, so they made the drive there. Sorry lads, but my crew needed to come in legally through customs. We didn't want to be the kindling on the for the Canadian border wall.

Ed Force One - YVR

Some of the best pics so far have come during my Vancouver landing. After several stops with cloudy and rainy settings I finally saw the sun. I flew out of Edmonton for the short 1.5hr flight and was kindly advised to take my time. Bruce decided to make a sky-donut.

Ed Force One - YEG

Flew in to Edmonton on a clear but windy day. Nothing too exciting on the flight other than all the chatter regarding that "near miss" with Air Force One in Chicago as we were departing.

Ed Force One - DTW

The short flight from Toronto to Detroit was uneventful. Unlike most of our other flights, YYZ tower held us at 7000ft until we flew out over Lake Ontario and away from Toronto. Was it a conspiracy to give spotters a final chance to snap pictures? I guess we'll never know.

This is what in Detroit they call a "Gas Guzzler"

Ed Force One - YYZ

One thing is for sure, the cameras were out today. Bruce flew me into Toronto in under 1 hour from Montreal. One spotter managed to take a picture of Bruce in the captain's seat.
